The Buyer Asked for the Floor Plan. He Got Five Listings.

Cover headline: Asked for the plan. Nobody sent it. Beside it, a buyer's WhatsApp reading Please send the floor plan.

It's Thursday night in Dubai. Mr. Menon has just finished a video walkthrough of a 3BHK resale flat in Pune with your executive, Kavya. At 10:40 pm he sends her a WhatsApp: "Please send the floor plan." His wife wants to see it before they pay the token.

Kavya has already left for the day. The message sits on her phone.

Back in the office, the brokerage's CRM does its job. A "thanks for your interest" email goes out that night. On Saturday he gets five new listings he might like. On Sunday, a text asks if he's still looking.

By Monday, he has paid the token on another flat, with a broker who sent the floor plan on Friday morning.

Nothing went wrong with the follow-up sequence. What went wrong was the conversation. Many small brokerages run that sequence on Keap, a CRM built around sales and marketing automation. Camrio is a CRM built around the conversation itself. If you're looking for a Keap alternative for real estate, this post compares the two side by side, so you can see which one fits how your buyers actually talk to you.

What Keap is built for

Keap is a CRM for small businesses that want their follow-ups to run on their own. Its real estate page covers lead scoring on listing forms, a sales pipeline that triggers tasks, appointment scheduling, referral programs, and broadcast email and text.

That's a good fit when most of your work is sending the right email at the right step. Real estate deals don't move that way. They move on questions. What's the final price? Is the society NOC in place? "Can you send the video once more for my father?" An automated email can't answer any of them.

🚀 Pro Tip: When a buyer asks for the floor plan, send it with one line about what happens next. "Shall I book a visit for you and ma'am on Saturday?" moves the deal. "PFA" doesn't.

Why real estate teams pick Camrio over Keap

1. WhatsApp and email sit in one inbox

Neither Keap's real estate page nor its pricing page mentions WhatsApp. For a team in India, or one selling to NRI buyers, that's where most questions arrive. In Camrio, Mr. Menon's WhatsApp and his wife's email sit in the same thread, with internal comments only your team sees.

⚠️ Warning: Don't let an automated sequence keep running after a buyer asks a real question. Five listings on top of an unanswered floor plan request tell him nobody read it.

2. It works for buyers outside the US

Keap's pricing page lists texting as US-only and its business phone line as US and Canada only. Its SMS getting-started guide adds the UK and Australia, after a verification step of 5 to 7 business days in the US and Canada. A buyer in Pune or Dubai isn't on that list. On WhatsApp, he's one message away.

3. Camrio reads the conversation, so you don't start from zero

A Keap stage might say Viewed property. It doesn't say he asked for the floor plan, or that his wife still has to see it. Camrio's Inbox Intelligence reads each conversation and keeps a short summary: what the buyer wants, a 0–100 purchase-interest score and the suggested next step.

4. Every buyer has one owner

Every conversation in Camrio has an owner, and the whole team can see who it is. "I'll send the plan tomorrow" becomes a follow-up task with a due date. The attention view lists everyone waiting on your team, so a 10:40 pm question is the first thing someone sees on Friday. The assistant can draft the reply, and your executive reads it before anything is sent.

5. It costs less for a 10-person team

Keap shows one plan at US$2,988 a year billed annually, with 2 users included and each extra user at US$39 a month. For 10 people that's about US$6,732 a year, before contact tiers, text add-ons and the implementation services the page says are required.

Camrio Pro is US$2,102 a year billed annually, for 10 team members, 10 WhatsApp numbers and 10 Google Workspace mailboxes, as per our pricing page. Meta charges for WhatsApp messages with any tool, and Camrio adds 0% markup on top.

🤔 Did You Know? When a buyer messages you from a click-to-WhatsApp ad and you reply within 24 hours, Meta's pricing page says the messages that follow aren't charged while the free entry point window is open, for up to 7 days.

Where Keap still fits

To be fair, if most of your clients are in the US and your work is mainly email and text campaigns, Keap does that well. Camrio doesn't do deal records or forecasting either.

You don't have to rip anything out. If Keap, Zoho CRM or HubSpot is where you keep your pipeline, keep it there. Camrio looks after the conversations.

More on what to do after a site visit so the buyer comes back, what happens when a buyer says "call me after Diwali" and how your inbox can tell you which lead to chase next.

The same Thursday, with Camrio

Picture Mr. Menon again. Same Thursday night, same message.

This time it lands in the shared inbox, and it's in the attention view first thing next morning. The summary is short. 3BHK resale in Pune, video walkthrough done, wants the floor plan for his wife, ready to pay the token this week.

A regular reply sounds like this. "Hello sir, thank you for your interest. Please find more options attached."

A reply with context sounds like this. "Good morning sir, here's the floor plan. The master bedroom is the one with the balcony you liked. Shall I book a visit for you and ma'am on Saturday at 11?"

The second reply wins the token, and it's not because the executive is better. It's because the conversation was remembered.

🔑 Key Takeaway: Keap is built to send the next email. Camrio is built to answer the buyer. Put WhatsApp and email in one inbox, give every buyer one owner, and reply to open questions before you leave for the day.

The sequence keeps the buyer warm. The answer gets you the token.

If you want to see how your own buyer conversations would look in Camrio, let's do a walkthrough.
